CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Group Class Cancellation/Refund/Credit Policy
1. Students can cancel their registration for a complete refund or credit if cancelled more than 7 days prior to the start of the first class.
2. Students will get a credit only, no refund, if they cancel between 1 and 7 days before the start of the first class. The credit will equal the full original amount.
3. Students will get a credit minus a $15 administrative fee if they cancel within 24 hours prior to the start of the first class.
4. After the first class begins, tuition is non-refundable. However a credit may be issued in the event of serious injury or long-term illness. Request for medical credit must be made in writing and be accompanied by a physician's certificate. Approved medical credits will be charged a $15 administrative fee. Medical credit requests must be made within two weeks after the class has run.
5 . To cancel, the student should contact MayIHaveThisDance as soon as possible via e-mail or phone.
6. If a class is cancelled by MayIHaveThisDance, the student will receive a full refund.
7. Valid Credits are always given in writing, in person or via e-mail, from a MayIHaveThisDance management member. Verbal credits are never given, therefore will not be accepted. To redeem a credit you must provide the credit in writing at the time or your registration.

Private Lesson Cancellation/Refund/Credit Policy
1. Students should give at least 24 hours notice when cancelling a private lesson. They should contact their instructor directly to cancel or leave a message on the studio messaging service.
2. If a student cancels with at least 24 hours notice, they are not charged a fee.
3. If a student cancels with less than 24 hours notice, they will be charged the standard fee for a private lesson.

Private Lesson Pre-paid Package Refunds Policy
Students may choose to pre-pay for a package of 5, 10, 15 or more private lessons to get a significant discount per lesson. However, we never pressure our students to purchase packages. Our individual private lesson rates are very reasonable and the best value in the industry. You may choose to just take, and pay for a private lesson, one-at-a-time. If a student has purchased a discounted private lesson package, and doesn't complete all the lessons in the package, he/she can request a refund of the unused portion of the package. The refund amount will be determined by deducting from the outstanding total package price paid, the instructor's standard individual private lesson rate, times the amount of lessons completed. A $25 administrative fee will also be deducted.

Make-up Policy
Currently MayIHaveThisDance typically runs a particular class only once during the month or semester. Class series (for example--a 4-week series) are progressive in nature so it is to your and your classmates benefit that you attend each class. If you miss a class, you may be behind for the next class, which will affect the other students in class. Therefore we really encourage each student to make every session in a series if possible. If you must miss a class, taking a private lesson, at an additional expense, to catch up is always a good idea.

For those students that have schedules that make it difficult to commit to a multi-week series, we have workshops which can be selected individually, as well as lessons in a series may be able to be taken individually at a per class price, assuming that there is still space available in the class. If you have registered for several workshops and know that you will need to miss one or many, please contact us in advance as outlined above so you can receive a credit and/or refund.

Our group lessons, workshops, and series are a tremendous value. Our curriculum and instructors are the best in the area, yet we are able to maintain much more affordable rates than other studios and dance schools. Please help us keep our low rates by observing our policies.
